Malaga
We have been successfully running Malaga’s Marine Complex (Estación Marítima de Málaga) since 2016 as concession holders, managers and controlling shareholders. Over this time, we have contributed to setting Malaga as an example to follow in the maritime and port sector.
- Traffic increased by 38% in 2019, compared to 2017
- Over 400,000 passengers and 70,000 vehicles
- The interior and façade of the Marine Complex have been completely refurbished
Algeciras
- Better information: to passengers and users
- Better security: setting up passenger and luggage controls, checking passports and tickets.
- Better comfort: thanks to the layout of the preboarding and boarding areas.
- Better accessibility: adapting fittings and infrastructure to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility.
- Better management of passenger and vehicle flow through the terminal.
Marinas
We promote the professionalisation of this promising sector which provides considerable social and economic impact on the territory.
IGY Malaga
One of the most emblematic of our projects is the superyacht marina in Malaga. With 31 berths for yachts between 30 and 180 metres long, IGY Malaga Marina arose from a strategic alliance with Island Global Yachting, the world’s leading operator of luxury marinas, which has a minority stake in the project.
Respecting our natural environment is key to our marina:
- It has been built using ecologically friendly concrete that boosts colonisation by marine fauna and reduces the carbon footprint.
- It provides 2,000 amps of marine power, which allows vessels to switch their engines off when docked, thus reducing carbon emissions and noise contamination.
IGY Ibiza
We operate the Ibiza megayacht marina located at the Muelle de Levante together with our partners Island Global Yacht and the Palladium Group. This is a unique location with:
- 42,000 sqm prepared to accommodate boats between 20 and 120 m in length.
- 28 mooring points equipped with the highest-quality services next to the historical centre of the island.
Aucanada Mallorca
Our Aucanada marina project contemplates the construction of three docks with a capacity to accommodate up to 161 yachts between 10 and 20 meters in length.
In addition, it involves the development of the entire area adjacent to the port, including retail space, restaurants, a sailing school, parking, and green areas and promenades.
