Last Sunday, November 6, our colleague and vice president of the Fundación Océano Solidario, José Luis Almazán, completed his participation in the New York Marathon with an excellent mark, with which he managed to give visibility to our project to build a Secondary School in the Twante region (Myanmar) and collect donations to help finance it.
To this end, the Ocean Solidarity Foundation organized a fun donation campaign through which each of the participants had the chance to guess the brand that our colleague José Luis would reach, being the prize for whoever came closest to giving a name to the aforementioned school. The High School has been christened Esperanza, and we couldn’t agree more with the choice of name.
We want to thank all the participants in the donation campaign for their valuable contribution and we invite all of you to follow the evolution of the project through our website and social networks.
